It is an institute-level Student Robotic Team under Sinhgad Institute, Pune. Mostly we participate in Robotics
Challenges held on Local/state/national/international level.

Work on multiple robots like Robo-Race Bots, Wrestling Bots, RC Boats, FPV Drones, Line Followers, Maze
Solvers, Combat Robots, RoboCon Bots, and innovative industry solutions!
What’s the mission and vision of STES Robotics?

Vision: To excel in robotics competitions, represent India globally, and inspire underprivileged students by
showcasing innovation and empowering them to shape a future driven by robotics.
What competitions does STES Robotics participate in?

Many Competitions throughout the country and will participate internationally too. Mainly focused on IIT’s
Technical fests, National Level Robotics Competitions and Championships, Local Level Competitions within
Maharashtra, Project Competitions and hackathons.
Does STES Robotics organize its own events or workshops?

The team manages Sinhgad Techtonic, Pune's biggest technical fest, and is planning national-level robotics
competitions with exciting prizes. We're also launching RoboSafar, a journey across India to explore robotics,
engage with students, participate in exhibitions, and inspire future robotics enthusiasts!

Do I need prior experience to join the team?

If you're passionate about learning robotics and can dedicate time productively, you're welcome to join the
team. However, consistent effort is essential—lack of interest or inactivity may lead to removal.
What roles are available within the team?

Technical team member, Someone Expert in CAD Software/Embedded Systems/PCB Designing/C++, Python, and other
coding languages.
Can non-engineering students join?
▼
Anyone eager to learn robotics or contribute is welcome! Non-tech roles like event management, marketing,
content creation, photography, video editing, and more are also available.
What can I learn by being part of STES Robotics?

Something new is always related to Robotics and technology, and you will have a great experience creating bots
on your own and competing in competitions. Creating a Solution-oriented project gives the next level of
satisfaction.
Are there mentorship or training programs available for new members?

Yes, of course. New members will receive basic training as soon as they join the team in all domains within
the team, the team will also arrange an expert guest lecture from roboteers across the Globe and some
founders, and many industrial visits will also happen along the way to give the members a hands-on experience.
